Took a short ride (20 km each way) out to Damme and onward to Sluis, Holland. Damme is a much smaller version of Bruge. It is quiet and quaint, but pales in comparision to Bruge. Again rode along the East-West canal to get to Damme. Looked like local people and weekend travelers enjoying a Saturday out. Stopped by a working wind mill that grinds various types of grain. The Belgian Blue cows are quite spectacular to look at with their double muscle mutation making them the Arnold Schwarzenegger of cows.
