Adios Venezuela

After living and working in Venezuela for the past 5 years, Ian and I decided that it was time to move on. With the political and economic struggles growing, we opted to leave when things were still positive for us, though for many Venezuelan's, life there will continue to be a struggle for some time. After packing up our lives into 10 pieces of luggage (2 bikes, 1 surfboard, 1 guitar and 4 overweight suitcases) for our flights home,  on June 16th, we left with full hearts; memories of great friendships and professional relationships and a love for one of the most beautiful countries in which we have traveled. We feel fortunate to have lived there and will take so much from our beloved Venezuela with us on to our next adventures. Remembering some special experiences there.
